Like, while answering audit risks and business risks. So basically, that is up to three marks per well-explained point, including professional marks. So what if I explain, like, for about two marks for each point, okay, short short, and I explain two other extra risks(for 21 mark audit risk quest do i write7 points ) . Do I get only for the starting 7 points or do I get marks also for the extrarisk thst identified points ?
Ask the Tutor ACCA AAA
AAA marking scheme
Short answer is YES - additional valid risks would ean marks. Unlike AA, where the examiner typically specifies how many risks to include, there is no restriction for AAA. BUT exercise caution .... Q will usually say "significant" risks - therefore an answer of more than 10 (say) different risks is likely to drift into the trivial (so would not be relevant).
Please note that I think you are mistaken in saying "up to three marks ... including professional marks" - you should not be thinking of professional marks as attaching to specific risks (if that is what you meant).
So Extra points can actually help if your first points aren’t perfect …
Look at the marking scheme to the M/J26 sample Qs in the Practice Platform - for example.
Dividing the maximum marks available by the "generally, up to" gives you the number of points to aim for in answer planning - so (a) 4 business risks (8/2), (b) 6 RoMM (18/3). The marking scheme and answer give 6 business risks and 7 RoMM - so not a lot more. You shouldn't plan to write more for "extra points" because you're more likely to introduce trivial risks into your answer. By all means jot down more ideas - but aim to develop the number indicated by the marking scheme to respond to the verb "evaluate". You need only 50% to pass this exam!
Hmm..Got it…Thanks for clarifying
